In the last months De Angeli Prodotti received 3 successful results for tenders issued by RFI (Rete Ferroviaria Italiana).
- Certainly the most relevant one is the contract for the supply of insulated cables and TACSR “antitheft” conductors.
This innovative technology developed by De Angeli Prodotti, enabled RFI to drastically reduce the phenomenon of copper thefts along the railway network, which caused heavy service delays.
- Also the tender for copper/silver contact wire had a very good response, for which De Angeli Prodotti obtained one lot for a period of 24 months.
- Last but not least is the tender for bare copper conductor, with which we will be dealing for the next years, supplying RFI.
With these 3 contracts De Angeli Prodotti confirms and consolidates itself as one of the main RFI’s suppliers in the field of conductors for catenary lines.
